Upgrade to a pair of fashionable headphones

Headphones are not just bought for their functionality as there is the ever growing trend for headphones to be double up as being fashionable accessories. I find myself scanning around on the tube looking at all the different brands, colours and styles of headphones and I cannot help but think that fashionable headphones are more important then the headphones specification. Of course, the spec of a headphone is important but when it comes down to it I am sure that a consumer makes the decision based on aesthetics.

Of course, the boom of headphones being fashion accessories began when skate and snowboarders made them look cool during tricks and then the famous American rapper Dr Dre put his name to the now infamous brand with a large marketing budget, and then people started upgrading their generic smartphone earphones for bolder and more fashionable headphones. Which in a round about way is great for us, as they get to trial a different style of headset to that is given with their smartphone. Many people ask, "what is the difference?" and quite simply we answer "a lot". Sound is clearly the biggest difference. With the highs and lows offering greater frequency and being able to hear all the layers. Quite often you hear different bits of a song when using speakers and then using headphones. Subtle, but definitely a noticeable difference. The second major difference is manufacturing quality, as the generic headphones given with a smartphone whilst having qualities may not have the same care in production that a specialist headphone brand will strive for. The last major aspect is whether the plain earphones compete from a fashion perspective. On-ear headphones are bigger so can be bolder and offer more style and substance. There are plenty of designs out the from the Marvel comics, to the high-end labels with cool prints. We at Urbanz offer colour, and bold colour at that. Our Neon range really makes a statement, yet we were sure to make the sound quality just as bold with 40mm driver units that offers a deep bass.

Check our the Neon stereo headphones, with an RRP of £24.99.
